On Thurs 6th April at 7.30pm we hosted an evening at Broxbourne Civic Hall with Melvyn Bragg - presenter of the South Bank Show, regular broadcaster on Radio Four, award-winning author of a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, tireless campaigner for the Arts and a Life Peer. Melvyn gave a fascinating talk about his new book TWELVE BOOKS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD, published to co-incide with a major television series starting on ITV1 on 16th April, signed copies of the book during the interval, and then answered audience questions afterwards.
