26th June 2007
On 26th June bestselling author, Gervase Phinn had a sell out audience of 400 at the Castle Hall, Hertford in stitches with his heart-warming, wry tales of his life as a schools inspector in Yorkshire featured in his latest autobiographic memoir...
Gervase’s extraordinary talent as a raconteur was ably demonstrated as he shared many laugh-out-loud anecdotes from his various books in his Dales series: The Other Side of the Dale, Over Hill and Dale and Head Over Heels in the Dales, all of which have been Top Ten bestsellers. To everyone’s delight he even kept up the hilarious banter in the signing sessions during the interval.
