For our first event with John Warner School, Charlie Higson, one of the UK’s top children’s authors and star of TV’s Fast Show, hosted a fun James Bond Quiz to marks the publication of his new book about the young spy Double or Die. The audience of more than 60 - including a number of fans dressed as characters from the books - formed teams to answer the questions and the winners received a spy gadget allowing them to listen in to conversations from 30 yards away.

At the beginning of January we ran a competition with The Mercury asking for kids to design a new Bond gadget. After the event itself The Mercury published a review of the evening with photos.
