School author visits and book supply

We work with primary, junior and secondary schools across the whole of East Herts to promote books and reading both within the curriculum and by organising external children’s workshops and book signings.

We bring authors into the classroom, support national book quizzes, organise essay competitions and order books for class use and school libraries.

These include games and puzzles to help develop literacy, numeracy and cognitive skills in young children, as well as a selection of “nostalgia” games offering traditional family entertainment away from the tyranny of the computer screen.
