SPRING 2008 MEET THE AUTHOR 

Our new season of MEET THE AUTHOR kicks off on Monday 3rd March at Broxbourne Civic Hall with Delia Smith talking about her new book: HOW TO CHEAT AT COOKING with tickets available only from the Box Office on 01992 441946.

On Tuesday 1st April at the Maltings Arts Centre in St Albans there will be an evening featuring best-selling international thriller writer Lee Child talking about his new novel Nothing to Lose featuring his hard-boiled New York detective, Jack Reacher - a 6ft 5in, 17st 8lb ex-US Army military policeman. The British-born Child moved to the U.S.A in 1995 after losing his job as a TV executive and decided to become a thriller writer. Since then he's published 11 books, selling more than 1.5 million copies in Britain alone. Over the last few years every one of his new novels have gone straight to the top of the bestseller charts.
