In our dedicated children’s section at the rear of the ground floor we stock a terrific range of books for children of all ages - from buggy and board books for babies, through delightful picture books, children’s classics and junior fiction to titles for young adults. This includes a large selection of brand new titles for all ages at bargain prices with over 50% OFF their original price.
To listen to Julie, who buys all the children’s titles, explain what we offer, please click the video link, above.
Throughout the year, in tandem with our Meet The Author programme for adults, we organise and support a range of events and initiatives as part of the curriculum in local schools as well as in local libraries, theatres and in our shop. These all aim to make reading fun and encourage children to develop their literacy skills.
For forthcoming events aimed at children please check out our Author Events section, and to see which writers we have arranged to visit local schools and to talk to us about arranging to bring authors to your school please see our Schools page.
